The approximate measurements of the structure as it was in its heyday include: the depth of the "cavea" - that is the semicircular sitting space of an ancient theatre - 29 metres deep; the orchestra 19 metres long the stage itself was 21 metres long and is partly located on the site of the present day S. Agostino church, part of it on the adjacent square and the rest lies on the premises of the S. Zita Convent.
